Our history
The Simms brand got its first start in New Zealand in 1920, trading as W. J Loader Ltd. We began by specialising in repairing injection pumps and injectors.
In 1958, the company was renamed Simms Diesel & Electrical Services, carrying out diesel injection and auto electrical repairs. Then in 1983, the electrical division was sold and Simms Electrical Services was born. We now operate out of 440 Church Street East in Penrose and specialise in all manner of auto electrical needs, including a call out service.
